A message from the owners…

Welcome to La Casa Mirador! Wendy and I hope that you come to love this place as much as we do. We have spent 5 years working with our family, putting our hearts and soles into this wonderfully characteristic property and we are very proud to be able to share our little piece of paradise in the Okanagan with you.  And really, what’s not to fall in love with? The incomparable lake views from the terrace? The ability to welcome your entire group into one stunning private space? A kitchen built for dreams (and large groups)! Or maybe you are drawn to the private theatre or the serenity of a soak in the roof top hot-tub, surrounded by the beautiful hills of the Okanagan Valley.

Whether you are coming here for a birthday, anniversary, wedding, retreat, or family reunion we hope that you can come to see this as your home away from home, just as we do. 

Wendy and I purchased the building just after it had been converted from a restaurant/event centre to a Guest House early in 2015. Since that time, we have made many changes including new flooring in the bedrooms, new gas stoves and a fabulous BBQ. We have undertaken major renovations including the addition of a bedroom on the top floor, top to bottom painting and new furniture. Seeing the unique draw of the private theatre we made improvements to the use of the projection equipment, and we improved the sound system on the main level.

This is just a tiny sample of the work that we have put into La Casa Mirador; work that never truly ends. We promise to continue putting our love and dedication into the upkeep of this property because, above all, we treat this as our home away from home. Our grandchildren refer to La Casa Mirador as the best castle ever. We trust you will enjoy it as well.
